This is feedback that i got from people in my class from this i have found that i could improve by using a wider range of colours and diffrent fonts.

From this i have decided that i will look at the use of different fonts but i intent to keep the colours the same because of the target audience.

My Magazine Cover

Double Page Spread Analysis 3

The title of the page is at the top right corner and is the biggest writing on the page. The main image is on the left page but goes over onto the right a little bit. The main colours are  black, white and blue. There are two columns.

The title of the page is Lady Gagas name, it isn't a big title because of the image being so big you know its about her. But the title is in the top right corner. The main colours that are used are black, white and red. There is a L over all of the writing but you can still see what it says. The L can be like the title because it indicates that its about Lady Gaga. The article is in three columns. On the left pge there is no writing only a picture.

The title of the page is partly behind her and then crosses over. The main image is on the left page but goes into the right page a little bit. The colours are black, white, grey and red. A part of the title and the first letter of the article is in the same font but the rest isn't. Florence is sitting on an American flag but you can only see the stripes, the colour matches her hair. Also the American flag matches the concept of the article about her in the USA. The article is set out into three columns.

The title of the page is at the top left next to the magazine name. Everything that is featured in the magazine is down the left apart from the main artiles that will be in the magazine and that has a big picture to draw people attention. The main colours that re used are black white and red. The subtitles are in red because people will be able to clearly see it and it draws attantion. All of the fonts are the same on the page.

Contents Page Analysis 2

The title of the page is placed at the top in the middle and is the biggest thing on the page. The contents aren't placed how they normally are. The main things have pictures because you look at the pictures before reading the writing so you're likely to read the writing if you know the person in the picture. The colours are plain, black and white but the pictures are colourful. There are different fonts used but are still easy to read and complement each other.

The colours used on the contents page the red black and white. There is a main image with a small article under it because it will give some the audience a small taste of what is in the magazine. The contents of the magazine is placed on the right, this is convenient for when people flick through the magazine because they will see it.

The colours used on this cover are black, red and grey. The framing has made the main focus is on his face because of the way that the text it placed.

Magazine Cover Analysis 2

There is a simple style to this cover. The black and white wring clashes with her red hair making it stand out. The white writing is the most noticeable against her hair which is why the magazine title is white. She has a blank expression but is still giving direct eye contact. The framing has the writing around her face making the most direct thing on the page.

Magazine Cover Analysis 1

I like this style of magazine cover, this is the sort of style that i would like mine to be. Everything is simple on it but it looks affective. The font is very plain and easy to read and see. There isn't that much text on it which makes it look more simple in a good way. As well as the text being simple in a good way the colours are the same, the red and white complement each other and stand out against the black and white background image. The part that the magazine would like to catch your eye is in the yellow circle because of it being bright and out of the colour scheme. The blank expression of the person in the main image makes the magazine look more simple but again in a good way. The framing of the magazine has made the text not near his face making more focus on the blank expression. I like the way the the name of the magazine is in the top left corner and is red because you don't straight away look at it but you still know that is NME. This will appeal to the target audience because it is laid back and a simple cover but at the same time looks good and professional.  

Foundation Production Portfolio Proposal

I have chosen to make the music magazine. The will be a mixed genre throughout the magazine making it appealing to more people. In order to satisfy the target audience i will include a wide variety of artist and music, tour dates, interviews and reviews. I would like to make my magazine simaliair to the NME.

This is a plan of the magazine that i intend to make. it is just an outline of it to show where things will be placed on the cover. It will be placed this way because it is the normal conventions of a magazine cover. It includes the masthead, main image, main sell line and other sell lines.
